PROPER LANDING

  1. Setup a long final approach to your runway.  As you pass over your runway be sure to have plenty of altitude to clear obstacles such as trees, power lines, fences, etc. (At least a 50” clearance is needed).

  1. Once you pass over the beginning of the runway hold the throttle to a setting of 300-500 rpm less than that of level flight rpm.

  1. Use the foot bars to keep you and the powered parachute going down the center of the runway.

  1. At 5-6’ before touching the ground, push a smooth 3-2-1 full flare and hold until you feel the rear wheels touch the ground.

  1. Release the foot bars to their neutral position as soon as you touch the ground.  Push the throttle stick forward to idle, shut the engine off, pull the steering lines to deflate the parachute.
