To: Six Chuter Business Representatives
From: Dan Bailey, President
Regards: Six Chuter Organization

The purpose of this correspondence is to update you on our next steps in reorganization of Six Chuter Inc. For those of you who have been with us for several years you will remember that we moved from a rather large staff in Yakima to a much downsized factory operation and delegation of authority and responsibilities to several flight centers. That move essentially ended the era of Six Chuter trying to manage distribution, sales, events and training through a large network of individual sales representatives supervised directly from Yakima.

Maintaining a business in this market has been challenging, to say the least. We worked hard for several years to redesign our fleet and complete the light sport certification process. That process as you know put most existing manufacturers out of business. If we hadn't taken the first steps in 2004 to downsize and restructure we would have been among the victims. Now despite only a handful of manufacturers being in position to sell in this new environment, gas prices, general
economy and even politics have made it nearly impossible to stay in the business. But in many ways our long-term experience and the strong loyalty of our existing customer base and our business representatives keep us in a unique and continuing position to achieve success.

In order to adapt to the current situation and in fact pave the way for a new future at Six Chuter Inc., I have decided to sell portions of Six Chuter Inc. to two new entities, "Six Chuter-West" and "Six Chuter-East". Six Chuter West will be owned and operated by Doug Maas and Rolando Santiago. Doug and Rolando have been with us for many years in charge of the Pacific N.W. region. Six Chuter East will be owned and operated by Joe Fenstermacher, manager of our Eastern U.S.
Flight Center. In essence Six Chuter Inc. will become three companies.

Six Chuter Inc. out of Yakima will continue to manufacture the FAA certified Legend airframes. However, sole assembly and distribution rights will be the responsibility of Six Chuter West and Six Chuter East. Both of these entities will be responsible for selling rolling airframe kits, or for finishing ELSA kits, and fabrication of SLSA units. The reason this makes sense is that it allows Six Chuter Inc. to be more efficient and cost-effective at manufacturing the core unit. And it allows for completion of full kits or fully assembled aircraft to be managed more effectively in geographic areas closer to our customer base.

So how does this effect each of you? Essentially it means that if you are managing your business east of 98 degrees longitude you will purchase directly from and operate in partnership with Joe and Six Chuter East. If you manage your business west of 98 degrees longitude you will purchase directly from and operate in partnership with Doug and Rolando, under Six Chuter West. In essence this is likely not much of a dramatic change from our current operating reality. We continue to
want to help develop full service flight centers in most areas of the United States. And we want to recruit, train and support a variety of sales representatives and associates in each area of the United States.

The main issue for all of us to experience success is emphasis on new sales. As tough as that is in the current market economy we encourage you all to partner closely with us to make new sales where we can. I am encouraged by hearing about the number of new students being trained at our primary flight centers. Sport Pilot certainly did not put a damper on new folks wanting to get into the sport, like predicted. If the sport is to continue to experience long-term success there must be manufacturers who can continue to sell quality aircraft and support them after the sale. The used "fleet" can't support the incoming customer base forever. With your continued loyalty and help Six Chuter Inc. will continue to be well positioned for the future.

I encourage feedback directly to me at
db@sixchuter.com or a personal call to 509 945-5821, or directly to Doug or Joe depending on who you are working with. You will soon see media releases, updating of our websites and modification of our telephone systems that coincide with our reorganization.

Sincerely,
Dan Bailey
